Quality Management

HighTec has established a management system which meets the requirements of the ISO 26262, IEC 61508 and ISO 9001:2015 standard.

ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 - PXROS-HR

IEC 61508PXROS-HR has been TÜV-certified according to the IEC61508 and ISO 26262 standards. The certificate approves that our operating system PXROS-HR can be used for safety-related applications up to ASIL-D (ISO 26262) and SIL3 (IEC 61508).

The safety certificate is valid from 2019 to 2024.

The certificate is accompanied by the assessment report which documents the assessment results of the certification authority, TÜV-Nord Systems GmbH & Co. KG.

ISO 26262 - C compiler

ISO 26262The HighTec compiler product so-called Development Platform is a NQA certified software tool according to ISO 26262 for safety related development. The NQA assessment and resulting tool certification of the HighTec products offer development organization the required evidence to demonstrate compliance with ISO 26262 standards.

Since 2016 the certificate has been replaced by our highly respected ASIL-D ISO 26262 "Qkit" qualification kit. Contrary to standard Safety Manuals based on fixed tool settings, HighTec's approach provides the user with a tailored set of Safety Documents based on the user's unique and optimized tool settings, related to the application that is subject to the certification. Qkit can be used for various certification processes, such as ISO 26262, ISO-13849, EN50128 and IEC61508. AbsInt Angewandte Informatik GmbH provides software for analyzing and optimizing embedded systems and safety critical applications. BUGSENG delivers state-of-the-art software verification solutions and services. ETAS offers RTA-OSEK, a Real-Time Operating System that supports both the OSEK/VDX and AUTOSAR perating system standards. RTA-OSEK works with the HighTec C compiler for TriCore and AURIX (2G) to generate applications with tiny RAM and ROM footprints and ultra-low CPU utilization. The performance of the application can be enhanced still further through optimizations based on timing analysis, for example reducing application stack requirements by up to a factor of eight, or identifying how much additional time can be spent executing specific tasks.



Founded in 2002, Evidence Srl is an AUTOSAR Development member and COMASSO Member working in the Automotive, Industrial and HVAC sector. Evidence is the producer of the ERIKA3 AUTOSAR OS, an open-source dual-licensed AUTOSAR OS supporting HighTec C compiler on the Infineon AURIX Platform. Validas AG


Validas AG is specialized on the topics of classification and qualification of tools and libraries. They provide qualification support to many users and developers, for example for C/C++ compilers and corresponding libraries. This support ranges from the cost free information sessions, via onsite-workshops to the construction of standard compliant qualification kits for tools and libraries.
