Bosch Automotive Electronics


Bosch Automotive Electronics is the largest manufacturer of micromechanical products and one of the largest automotive semiconductor manufacturers in Europe. We are the undisputed market leader for automotive MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) sensors. We design, manufacture and sell sensors, ASICs, ASSPs and power semiconductors, based on experience in automotive electronics components of more than 40 years.

HighTec collaborated with Bosch to develop a C compiler for the Bosch GTM-IP MCS. This timer module is also present at various standard microcontrollers, such as the Infineon AURIX, NXP Qorriva, STMicroelectronics SPC5xx and Renesas RH850 microcontrollers.

Infineon Technologies


Infineon is a leading innovator in the international semiconductor industry. Infineon design, develop, manufacture and market a broad range of semiconductors and complete system solutions for selected industries. The products serve applications in the wireless and wireline communications, automotive, industrial, computer, security and chip card markets.

HighTec has a long term cooperation and support agreement with Infineon in place to ensure the availability of its C/C++ compiler solutions for TriCore, AURIX, AURIX 2G, HSM and GTM.

HighTec is Infineon assigned Preferred Design House and distributes/supports Infineon's MCAL, SafeTlib and SHE+ libraries. With its PXROS-HR Real-Time Operating-System HighTec offers a market leading RTOS for TriCore and AURIX.

NXP Semiconductors

HighTec's C/C++ compiler for Power Architecture delivers support for the NXP (originally Freescale) Qorivva MPC series of industrial and automotive microcontrollers, including on-board cores like the GTM/MCS. HighTec's new C/C++ compiler for ARM provides support for the Cortex-R and Cortex-A based microcontrollers.

HighTec's C compiler for GTM/MCS delivers support for the RH850 on-board GTM/MCS core. HighTec's new C/C++ compiler for ARM provides support for the Cortex-R and Cortex-A based microcontrollers.



STMicroelectronics is a global independent semiconductor company that designs, develops, manufactures, and markets a broad range of semiconductor integrated circuits (ICs) and discrete devices used in a wide variety of microelectronics applications, including telecommunications systems, computer systems, consumer products, automotive products, and industrial automation and control systems.

HighTec's C/C++ compiler for Power Architecture delivers support for the STMicroelectronics SPC5xx series of industrial and automotive microcontrollers, including on-board cores like the GTM/MCS. HighTec's new C/C++ compiler for ARM provides support for the Cortex-R and Cortex-A based microcontrollers.

Angewandte Informatik GmbH

AbsInt Angewandte Informatik GmbH provides software for analyzing and optimizing embedded systems and safety critical applications. The company name AbsInt is a shortcut of "Abstract Interpretation" - a technique for static analysis of software. AbsInt supplies tools for automatic computation of worst-case execution time (WCET), the maximum of stack consumption and analysis of run-time errors.



BUGSENG delivers state-of-the-art software verification solutions and services. BUGSENG's main product is ECLAIR, a flexible and extensible framework for the analysis of C and C++ source code with a strong focus on embedded systems and on the verification of compliance with respect to the MISRA guidelines and other coding standards.

Among the unique features of ECLAIR is the technology whereby it seamlessly integrates with any build system without any user toolchain configuration. ECLAIR intercepts every invocation of the toolchain components (compilers, linker, assembler, archive manager), automatically extracting and interpreting the options that the build system has passed to them, obtaining all needed sources, the architectural parameters, any predefined macros and so on.

ECLAIR is ready for use with all HighTec C/C++ compiler suites.

emmtrix Technologies


emmtrix Technologies GmbH is a leading tool provider for automatic C code generation for embedded single- and multicore processors, FPGA and GPU systems from model-based application software. Companies from the automotive, aerospace and automation sectors benefit from the emmtrix’s tools, customized engineering and support services by using new hardware architectures efficiently and without errors.

emmtrix Code Generator (eCG) provides the user with efficient, comprehensible and compact embedded C code from MATLAB®/Simulink® or Scilab/Xcos applications.
emmtrix Parallel Studio (ePS) offers an interactive parallelization of C code that allows an time-efficient, iterative optimization of the generated C code. Afterwards, the output of ePS can be deployed on various embedded processors or used for rapid prototyping.

HighTec and emmtrix Technologies are collaborating to offer integrated solutions of emmtrix’s C code generation with HighTec’s C/C++ compiler suites for automotive and industrial applications. This seamless workflow simplifies the configuration and compilation for established microprocessors such as AURIX, AURIX 2G, Power Architecture (PowerPC) and ARM.



ETAS offers RTA-OSEK, a Real-Time Operating System that supports both the OSEK/VDX and AUTOSAR perating system standards. RTA-OSEK works with the HighTec C compiler for TriCore and AURIX (2G) to generate applications with tiny RAM and ROM footprints and ultra-low CPU utilization. The performance of the application can be enhanced still further through optimizations based on timing analysis, for example reducing application stack requirements by up to a factor of eight, or identifying how much additional time can be spent executing specific tasks.



GLIWA is the world's leading vendor of trace-based timing analysis tools for the automotive industry. The powerful timing suite T1 enables software developers, system integrators and test engineers to visualize, understand, measure, debug, optimize and verify the timing of their ECU software. T1 has very relaxed bandwidth requirements and requires no hardware modification at all – making it the perfect fit for the lab as well as for in-car tracing using production version ECUs.


Hitex GmbH - the range of Hitex product extends from in-circuit emulators, monitors, simulators, debuggers, analysers and evaluation boards all the way to the innovative PressOn adaptation solution. The strong point of Hitex lies in an extensive expertise of emulation technology, and application in sophisticated tools.

ITK Engineering

ITK Engineering ITK Engineering, a global tech company, draws on methods-driven expertise to provide platform-independent and customized software and system development services as well as technical consulting in various industries - from embedded systems to cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Working with partners such as HighTec, we can provide integrations of our tools optimized to work with specific compilers and debuggers.

Rapita Systems' structural coverage analysis tool, RapiCover, offers the lowest overhead code coverage on the market, meaning that DO-178B/C coverage requirements can be met with fewer rig tests.

RapiTime is the only measurement-based worst-case execution time analysis tool. This allows determination of WCET, and enables highly efficient, low-risk optimization projects.

RapiTask visualizes RTOS scheduling and event tracing for complex, embedded systems. It supports detailed investigation of timing issues via an interface to RapiTime.

Razorcat Development


Razorcat Development GmbH has been creating testing tools for software development of embedded systems since 1997. The unit and integration testing tool TESSY is certified to IEC 61508 and ISO 26262, and is being used in a large number of software projects across all branches of industry for the verification of safety-critical and high-quality software. Validas AG


Validas AG is specialized on the topics of classification and qualification of tools and libraries. They provide qualification support to many users and developers, for example for C/C++ compilers and corresponding libraries. This support ranges from the cost free information sessions, via onsite-workshops to the construction of standard compliant qualification kits for tools and libraries.
